DRIVE PULLEY

CONVEYOR DRIVE PULLEY (HEAD PULLEY)
The drive pulley (head pulley) is a critical component in conveyor systems, responsible for transmitting driving force from the motor to the conveyor belt. BisonConvey drive pulleys are manufactured with high-quality carbon steel shells (Q235 or Q345) and precision-machined 45# steel or alloy steel shafts, engineered to withstand heavy loads and continuous 24/7 operation.
To improve friction and prevent belt slippage, multiple lagging options are available — plain rubber lagging, grooved (herringbone) rubber lagging for enhanced drainage, or ceramic lagging for extreme wet/high-load conditions. All pulleys can be dynamically balanced for high-speed applications and supplied with industrial-grade welding and NDT inspection on request.
